Sic Bo Strategy

Sic Bo is a popular dice game, in which players wager on the outcome of the roll of a set of dice. While it is impossible to predict the outcome of the roll, there are a few things that players can do to ensure that they have a positive outcome.

In order to secure a profit in the long term, players are advised to stick with bets that have the lowest house edge. While wagers with higher house edges offer better cash prizes, it is less likely that the player will win when placing these bets.

The low-edge bets are Small and Big bets. Because you are wagering on one of two outcomes, your chances of winning these wagers are 50/50. They only offer even money, but they are more likely to win than any other wager that you could make while playing Sic Bo.

Players who would like to take bigger risks for bigger returns should consider the option of wagering on totals. It is advised that players only stick to totals of 10 and 11, as they are the most likely to be rolled when playing with all three dice. They payout 5-to-1, significantly higher than the payout provided by Small and Big bets.

Doubles and triple bets should be reserved for players who are really out to gamble. The chances of rolling a double or triple range from 16% to 30% and the prize can be as large as 180 to 1.

We advise players to play it safe when participating in a game of Sic. Especially if players have a limited gambling budget, it is wise to stick to wagers that have a 50% chance of winning – even if the prizes are relatively lower.
